The 2023 high school football season has some exciting matchups that will shake up the MaxPreps Top 25 rankings in a big way. One of the most anticipated games is the renewal of the sport’s biggest rivalry on October 13, as No. 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) faces off against No. 3 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.). These two Trinity League teams have won four of the last seven national titles combined.
Check out the complete list below.
Both Mater Dei and St. John Bosco are in several games on the list. Mater Dei will go to Baltimore to play against No. 6 St. Frances Academy on October 22. Meanwhile, St. John Bosco has a big challenge in Florida, facing No. 9 St. Thomas Aquinas on August 26.
St. Frances Academy has the toughest schedule among all teams. The Baltimore team is part of five out of the ten featured games, with four of them being away games.
